HOW TO GET to us

Car:

If you have a car, you can take the A2 motorway from the center of Lisbon towards the south. After crossing the bridge, take the first exit and follow the IC 20 road to Costa da Caparica. It’s approximately a 20-minute drive from the city center.

Bus:

If you don’t have a car, you can use public transport. Bus lines 3709 and 3710 depart from Marquês do Pombal and Sete Rios in Lisbon, respectively, and go directly to Costa da Caparica with a few stops along the way.

Train:

Take the train to Sete Rios and cross the Tejo bridge. Exit at Pragal, which takes about 11 minutes from Sete Rios. Alternatively, you can take the train from the Roma-Areeiro station (17 minutes) or Campolide (8 minutes) to reach Pragal. From Pragal, there is a direct bus (3024) to Costa da Caparica, which takes approximately 36 minutes. The total duration of the train and bus journey can range from 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your departure station.

Boat:

There are two boat options available:

• From Cais do Sodré to Cacilhas: Regular departures are available during the week, and it takes approximately 10 minutes by boat. On weekends and public holidays, there are about three journeys per hour in each direction.
• From Cacilhas to Costa da Caparica, you can take bus 3011, which takes around 34 minutes.
• Alternatively, you can take a boat from Belém to Trafaria. On working days, there is approximately one departure per hour from Belém. This ferry allows you to bring your car or motorbike.
• From Trafaria to Costa da Caparica, you can take bus 3030. It takes 15 minutes to reach Costa da Caparica and 30 minutes to reach Fonte da Telha.

These transportation options provide flexibility for reaching Costa da Caparica from different parts of Lisbon, whether you prefer driving, using public transport, or taking a scenic boat ride.
