Frequently asked questions
Can children take surf lessons?
Yes — our lessons suit all ages and we adapt the coaching and equipment to each student. If you’re booking for young children, let us know their age when you book so we can match the right instructor and board.
What happens if the weather or surf is bad?
Surfing runs in most conditions, and the wetsuit keeps you warm even on cooler days. If the ocean is genuinely unsafe we’ll contact you to reschedule.
How far in advance should I book?
In summer and on weekends, lessons fill up — we recommend booking a few days ahead to get your preferred time. You can book directly online and pick your slot.
Can I rent a board after my lesson?
Yes. Many students rent a board and wetsuit to keep practising once the lesson ends — see our surfboard rental page for what’s available and the daily rate.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes — a surf lesson makes a popular gift. You can buy a gift card online and the recipient books their own date.
