Safety Rules:
- Protect your ears
Always use earplugs. Keep water out of the eardrum - Drink plenty of water
Stay hydrated; don't wait until you're thirsty. - Protect your eyes from the sun
Use 100% UV sunglasses - Do not drink alcoholic beverages
Surfing while intoxicated is not a good idea; danger of drowning - Don't surf alone
Always have someone nearby in case of an emergency. - Always warm up
Include a warm-up routine before and after entering the water. - Do not dive headfirst
Diving headfirst, especially near the shore, can cause cervical spine injuries - Protect yourself from the sun
Staying in the shade and using sunscreen is the best way to protect yourself from the sun
